Side by side

How we picked

This buying guide compares eight ASUS handheld consoles from the catalogue, all sold under the maker name ASUS. The ranking rule is applied in a fixed order: listed storage first (largest to smallest), then listed screen size (all 7 inches here), then the order in which listings appear in the pool. Consoles are compared on the details each listing gives, including storage, screen size, line, bundle status, and other named specifications, and on the live price shown at the time of reading. Where a detail is missing from a listing, the guide says it is not stated by the seller.

How to choose

Pick the storage that fits your installs

Storage is the first divider among these ASUS handhelds. The list ranges from 512GB to 4TB, so a buyer who keeps many titles installed may want the higher tiers, while someone who installs sparingly can use a smaller number. The guide orders picks by listed storage, but the right choice depends on your own habits.

Bundle or plain console

Some listings list a bundle with items such as a hub and screen protector. A bundle can save you from buying those accessories separately, but it also adds contents you may not need. If you prefer a bare console, pick a listing without a bundle mention.

Touchscreen or not

Several titles list a 7-inch touchscreen, while others do not. If touch input matters for how you play, look for the word touch in the listing. The non-touch models still have a screen, but the touch capability is not claimed.

ROG Ally vs ROG Xbox Ally line

The pool includes one ROG Ally model and several ROG Xbox Ally models. The line name is part of the listing and may signal a family or design difference. Buyers who care about the line should match the name to their preference.

What this guide leaves out

This guide compares listed details and live prices only. It does not cover game libraries, frame rates, battery life, or performance, because those are not in the catalogue. Buyers should read individual listings for any extra claims.

Questions

Do these ASUS handhelds come with a disc drive?

None of the listings in this guide list a disc drive. Each is a handheld form, and the details do not include one. Buyers who need disc playback should look elsewhere.

Can I compare these consoles by game library or battery life?

No. The catalogue provides no data on game libraries, battery runtime, or frame rates. This guide compares only the details listed in each listing, such as storage, screen size, line, and bundle status.

What is the difference between the ROG Ally and ROG Xbox Ally lines?

The listing names are the only evidence here. One pick carries the ROG Ally name, while the others carry ROG Xbox Ally. The guide does not list any performance or compatibility difference beyond the line name given.

Are bundles always a better choice?

Bundles include extra items as listed in the title, such as a hub and screen protector. Whether that is better depends on whether you want those items. The price comparison is left to the live price displayed on the page.
